Lianne Perry

Lianne has over 20 years’ experience working in Government and Industry as a lead project manager with a focus on environmental programming, administering employability programs for youth and business training and coaching in social media, mobile technology and online marketing. She is an Advisor for the award-winning Enactus team at Saint Mary’s University.  Lianne is an experienced business trainer, coach and consultant and is currently finishing the Masters Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her thesis work focuses on opportunities for social entrepreneurship in the area of food security in Nova Scotia. Lianne is a founding member and the Marketing representative for NSWIT (Nova Scotia Women in Technology), previous Halifax Chapter Co-Lead for Ladies Learning Code, a member of the Nova Scotia Women in Technology task force and the Techsploration Advisory Board. In her spare time, Lianne enjoys creative pursuits. She is an award-winning writer and performer and MC who can be seen performing original comedy and hosting events and conference sessions throughout Nova Scotia.

Michael Sanderson

Michael has over 20 years’ experience in entrepreneurship, economic development and professional training. He has extensive leadership and project management experience and has been responsible for the development and delivery of varied projects including multi-year employability training programs for recent graduates, employability training programs for priority youth, conference planning and coordination, a variety of research and consulting projects, and professional development training. In addition, he has gained significant entrepreneurial experience. Michael has owned several businesses, most recently as a Partner in local technology start-up Equals6. He is a part-time Business Professor at Saint Mary’s University and a Faculty Advisor for the University’s award-winning Enactus team. Not to be outshone by Lianne, Michael has a creative side as well. He once made a short film screened during the Atlantic Film Festival.

Mukul Gupta

Mukul is a technology expert. His current portfolio includes working with businesses to decide what computer tools and technologies are best able to help them sustain and grow a profitable business. Knowledgeable in the latest computer and networking trends, Mukul advises small business owners how to get the most out of their computer and software systems. He is also a part of the founding team of GB Techsulting, a Halifax-based technology company. Past projects have included creating and converted content for the Saint Mary’s University’s new website, managing their photo library database, and designing print & web marketing material. He also worked to further the Fido telecommunications brand in Atlantic Canada as a Wireless Communications Trainer for Mosaic Sales Solutions where his responsibilities were to boost product knowledge, and drive sales by training staff in various cell phone stores.
